Cogsdill Continues Streamlining Burnishing Product – Phase 2

Cogsdill continues to streamline current Burnishing product offering of four internal Burnishing lines and three external Burnishing lines to a more rationalized product offering. Phase 1 was effective April 2, 2012 and involved changes to the Madison Microller Burnishing Program.

Phase 2 relates to the “R” series internal Roll-a-Finish tools and parts, and tool shank additions to the “SR” series internal Roll-a-Finish program.

The “R” series internal Roll-a-Finish program will be changed to a status of “non-stock” standard effective June 1, 2012. Cogsdill will continue to offer replacement rolls, mandrels, and cages for exsisting tools being used. “R” series cages and rolls are currently used on “SR” series tools for helix solutions and these will remain as “stock standard”.

As the “R” series program is supplied mostly with Morse Taper shanks, and the “SR” series with a straight shank in both inch and metric, Cogsdill will add a Morse Taper shank option to the “SR” series program. SR tools from SR-188 to SR-1594 will be available with a #2 MT shank and SR-1625 to SR-2500 with a #3 MT shank.

Refer to the updated Burnishing Tools & Machines catalog posted on WWW.COGSDILL.COM for the most current changes in the Burnishing Product Program.
